Kinley’s Uptown Charlotte Senior Photoshoot
Kinley’s senior photoshoot took place on the perfect fall day! The leaves were changing, the temperature was just right, and the autumn colors made everything look absolutely stunning. Kinley chose to have her senior photoshoot in Uptown Charlotte, specifically at Romare Bearden Park and an Uptown parking deck with an incredible view of the Charlotte skyline!
We began in Romare Bearden Park, where the vibrant fall leaves created a beautiful backdrop for Kinley’s first outfit—a fun, cozy fall look that perfectly complemented the scenery. Throughout the shoot, we alternated her cap and gown at each location to make sure we got plenty of variety. Kinley will be graduating in Spring 2025 from Sun Valley High School, and it was such a joy capturing this milestone for her!
For the second location, we headed to an Uptown parking deck right in the heart of the city. Kinley changed into a gorgeous white dress and fall boots, which suited the season beautifully. Let me just say—this parking deck is amazing for photos! The light, the city vibe, everything about it made for stunning shots!
Kinley’s final outfit was her cheer uniform, and I have to say, it was my favorite look of the day! I absolutely love when seniors bring something personal to their session, and Kinley’s cheer uniform was the perfect choice. If you didn’t already know, I cheered at the same gym, Cheer Athletics Charlotte, so it was so much fun to chat about cheer and reminisce about my old coaches (her coaches now!) and all the memories. Cheer Athletics definitely is a family, even if we didn’t cheer together!
What is the most valuable lesson learned during your high school experience?
“To stand up for yourself and do what’s right no matter what everyone else is doing.” - Kinley
